The Heinrich Böll Foundation's Representative Office in
Russia together with the publishing house "Zvenya" published the book
"Gender for Dummies."
The book is not only for specialists, though it was
written by scientists such as sociologists, historians, psychologists and
linguists who are for many years involved in gender issues. It is addressed to
the "Dummies" –the most grateful reading audience. Personal
experiences help people to identify the problems associated with their own life
as woman or man, and the authors help to understand the problems.
