History is often used as a tool for artificially fueling discord in modern society. In the context of European integration, maintaining good neighborly relations with EU member states is of key importance.

The project “Neighbors. Points of Contact. Seeking Common Ground in Ukraine’s Relations with Neighboring States” aims to distinguish between mobilization narratives of hostility and the actual state of affairs.

How do Hungarians, Slovaks, and Poles truly perceive Ukraine? Do Ukrainian media objectively cover relations with neighboring countries? How can media help establish horizontal connections between our nations — both at the political level and within civil society?

These questions are explored in our podcasts — through expert and diplomatic perspectives, as well as through the voices of representatives of national minorities.
