Coverage of Ukraine's relations with Poland, Hungary, and Slovakia in the Ukrainian media: topics and accents monitoring
In the process of European integration, maintaining good relations with neighboring EU member states is of great importance. The project "Neighbors. Meeting Points. Searching for Common Ground in Ukraine’s Relations with Neighboring States" seeks to distinguish between mobilizing narratives that fuel hostility and the actual state of affairs.
How do Hungarians, Slovaks, and Poles really feel about Ukraine? Do Ukrainian media outlets portray neighborly relations objectively? And how can the media help build horizontal connections between our peoples—not just at the political level, but also within civil society?
We present the monitoring report by the NGO Center for East European Scholarly Studies, supported by the Heinrich Boell Foundation.
