Olha Nykorak has been coordinator of the Human Security Programme since September, 2023. Within the framework of the programme, Olha focuses on including the topic and components of human security in the Ukrainian and global public discourse, enhancing the visibility of Ukraine's vision and expertise in the European and transatlantic security dialogue, identifying and proposing ways to overcome hybrid threats, and engaging young people in European integration processes.
She holds a PhD in Law and teaches at the Department of Constitutional Law at the Ivan Franko National University in Lviv. Previously, Olha was a visiting researcher at the University of Warsaw (Eastern European Studies Programme), at the University of Graz (Department of Foundations of Law), studied international public law at the University of Tartu; she is currently enrolled in the postgraduate programme in strategic communications at the Sympodium Institute. She has worked as a policy advisor to a member of the Ukrainian Parliament, as a project and programme manager at the Ukrainian Catholic University and at Internews Baltia. Olha is an alumna of the GMF's Policy Designers Network and ReThink.CEE`2022 programme.
