Oksana Aliieva is “Climate Change and Energy Policy” Program Coordinator at the Heinrich Boell Foundation, Kyiv - Ukraine Office. Her professional interests focus on climate change mitigation and transition to green energy as a major step in reducing emissions, as well as on the introduction of climate justice into public discourse.
Oksana Aliieva began her work in the field of environmental protection and climate change in 2011 after receiving her Master's Degree in Environmental Biotechnology. Since then, she has worked in the civil society and international technical assistance sectors. She joined the Foundation's team in 2016. In addition to environmental and climate priorities, Oksana pays great attention to the need to take gender issues into account in the energy and environmental sectors of Ukraine and to the gender implications of climate and energy policy.
